Biography

Jim Vricos grew up in Clearwater and attended Belcher Elementary School, Oak Grove Middle School, Clearwater High School, St. Petersburg College, and then graduated from Florida State University.

After graduating from FSU, Jim went on to attend Law School, obtaining his Juris Doctorate degree from the Touro University Law Center in New York and his Masters of the Law from George Washington Law School in Washington DC.

Jim has served as an Assistant State Attorney in Charlotte County Florida and an Assistant Attorney General for the District of Columbia. During his time as a prosecutor, Jim was Lead Trial Attorney on numerous misdemeanor and felony jury trials.

After serving as an Assistant Attorney General in Washington DC, Jim and his wife Debbie moved back to Clearwater. Here, Jim and Debbie are the parents of three young children, Dianna, Billy, and Petra. As a husband and father, Jim understands the deeply held convictions and feelings that are central to the practice of family law.

Jim brings with him his blend of legal acumen and family values every time he speaks with or on behalf of our clients.
